In the last 12 months, we hosted members of the community for events of every size and description in Scientology Churches all over the world.

In the home city of our international spiritual headquarters, the Clearwater Community Volunteers invited residents of all faiths to celebrate the spirit of the holidays throughout the year.

For the past 40 years, our Los Angeles Church has sponsored L. Ron Hubbard’s Winter Wonderland, complete with Santa’s village, real snow (right on Hollywood Boulevard) and gifts for children living in Hollywood.

In 2022, the Church of Scientology Malmö organized family-friendly festivals and community open houses, marking such events as the United Nations’ International Day of Friendship.

Dublin’s Church of Scientology and Community Centre hosted all manner of community events, from musical concerts and dance performances to ethnic celebrations and charity events.

Throughout the year, we brought hope to communities with Church⁠-⁠sponsored humanitarian programs and opened our doors to like-minded groups for the betterment of all.

We welcomed leaders of different religions into our Churches in support of interreligious dialogue and religious freedom.

Our Church in Bogotá brought together an array of religions—including Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim and Buddhist—to foster cooperation between all faiths.

Our Churches helped instill greater trust, honesty and self-respect throughout their communities with the common sense guide for better living, The Way to Happiness.

The Faith & Blue community cleanup, cosponsored by the Church of Scientology Los Angeles and the Hollywood Division of the Los Angeles Police Department, united community members, businesses and faiths to beautify the streets of Hollywood.

Helping communities eradicate drug abuse, we sponsor the Foundation for a Drug-Free World, educating youth and adults to diminish the demand for drugs.

Our Church of Scientology in Central Ohio partnered with community members to address the area’s drug problem by delivering the Truth About Drugs to people of all ages.

In the last year, the Church-sponsored United for Human Rights championed the cause of freedom for all by educating communities on universal human rights.

Harlem’s Youth for Human Rights chapter continued its long-standing partnership with Project Peace Lights, working to accelerate peace and human rights education around the world.

One of Mexico’s preeminent human rights activists, who has collaborated with the Church of Scientology Mexico City for many years, advanced her fight against human trafficking with the Church-sponsored program.

Through an organization called “The Future of South Africa,” a single activist working with our Church of Scientology Johannesburg North has reached 2.7 million people with the message of human rights.

In 2022, our worldwide ranks of Scientology Volunteer Ministers delivered unconditional help wherever and whenever the need arose.

Even before Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida on September 28, our Scientology Volunteer Ministers had not only shored up storefronts against the storm, but also had everything in place to bring aid in the aftermath.

In the wake of one of eastern Australia’s worst floods in history, Australian Volunteer Ministers launched out, delivering succor to survivors and clearing damage from the storms.

Volunteer Ministers in South Africa became legendary after safeguarding the nation, sanitizing over 9.8 billion square feet of government and community facilities. In turn, South African officials and workers trained at Castle Kyalami, the Advanced Organization for Africa, graduating as new, full-fledged Scientology Volunteer Ministers.

On December 23, 2022, representatives from every police force in Gauteng Province gathered at Castle Kyalami for an Honor and Recognition Ceremony. The police from Gauteng Province presented one-of-a-kind awards in recognition of the selfless contribution of South African Volunteer Ministers.

For Scientologists, our Churches stand as beacons of spiritual freedom, places where, in 2022, they attained greater heights of spiritual freedom.

At our Advanced Organization in Sydney, serving the entire Asia-Pacific spread, the number of Scientologists auditing on advanced spiritual counseling doubled.

In South Africa, our Advanced Organization broke records, with highest ever numbers of Scientologists auditing on advanced levels, highest ever auditing hours and, across all processing and training, it was highest ever in history.

As the spiritual hub for the European continent, our Advanced Organization in Copenhagen, Denmark, welcomed Scientologists from more than two dozen nations.

Our Advanced Organization in the United Kingdom expanded Academy course completions three times over, all while someone completed a step on the Bridge every single hour.

Marking a phenomenal year of expansion, the Pacifica Bridge in Los Angeles graduated a new auditor every day, and a Scientologist advanced another level on the processing side of the Bridge every hour.

Scientologists arrived to our spiritual headquarters from more than 70 nations, with the greatest number in history crossing the threshold to the highest levels of the Bridge.

After spending 600 days dockside during maritime lockdowns, the Freewinds, our humanitarian ship and advanced religious retreat, is once again sailing on the high seas.
